Be12 EXIM (exim.be12media.com) is run by Be12 Media, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”). This notice explains how we handle personal data under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025.
What we collect
- Account: name, email, mobile number, company, password (stored only as a secure hash), or your Google profile name and email if you sign in with Google.
- Business data you enter: company profile (IEC, GSTIN, addresses, bank details for invoices), buyers and partners, products, shipments, payments, tasks and uploaded files.
- Lead forms: email and the optional details you give (phone, product, target country, message), the page and campaign that brought you.
- Technical: IP address, browser type, session cookies needed to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics usage statistics on our public pages.
Why we use it
- To run your dashboard and send account emails (verification, password reset, deadline reminders you can switch off).
- To answer enquiries and send the export resources you asked for, and occasional product updates you can unsubscribe from.
- To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and improve it.
We rely on your consent, which you give at sign-up or on a form, and you can withdraw it at any time. We do not sell your data or share your business data with other users.
Who can see it
Only you can see your business data. Authorised Be12 Media platform administrators can see account and usage details (name, email, phone, company, sign-up date, activity counts) to support users and run the service. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) stores the data; Google provides sign-in and analytics.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you erase your account, your data and files are deleted from the live system immediately and from backups within 30 days. Lead form entries are kept for up to 24 months.
Your rights
You can access, correct, download (Settings → Download my data) and erase (Settings → Erase my account) your data, withdraw consent and nominate someone to act for you. To raise a grievance, email support@be12media.com; we respond within 7 days. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Encrypted HTTPS, hashed passwords, private file storage outside the public web folder, rate limiting and access controls.
